A corporation
know as Shinra rules the world and is in the process of slowly destroying the
planet. You play as Cloud Strife, a mercenary with a huge sword and
uncertain past. Eight other people will help you on your quest to save the
planet from Shinra, and worse.
A rogue soldier, reported MIA, has returned with a vengeance. This madman is Sephiroth, and he has connections to Cloud's past. Sephiroth has a mysterious ability to control people into doing his bidding. And Cloud is one of his favourite targets. The poor man is tormented by visions of a past that he didn't have, but must have been there to know about.
